Daniel Wheatley, Editor

Does your novel suffer from Flat Characteritis, Confusing Plot Pox, or the Grammar and Spelling Flu?  Do you wish you could take it to someone like that doctor who cured your barfing cat and he’d make it all better?

That’s what I’m here for.  (Your novel.  Not your barfing cat.  Take him to a vet.)

My name is Daniel Wheatley and I’m a freelance editor with over 5 years of professional experience.  I specialize in polishing dull characters, trimming bloated storylines, and wrestling with structure and grammar until it cooperates.  Genre fiction is my first love, but I cut my editorial teeth proofreading tax law so nothing really frightens me anymore.  In addition to my professional experience I serve as the one-man editorial department for Anime USA, a nonprofit anime convention based in Washington D.C.

If you are interested in my services, please consult my Rates and FAQs or take a look at my Testimonials.  You can find more information about me on my About page or ask me directly at daniel@grammatarium.com or one of the other venues listed on my Contact page.  And if you are truly desperate for reading material, my Blog details ongoing escapades and my search for bad zombie movies.

Whether you’re just looking for a bit more polish on a nearly-finished manuscript or still trying to get that idea down on the page, I can help.  I deliver enthusiastic, informed, and professional work within the deadline and at a very reasonable cost.  Let’s make that story the best it can be.
